This is where the white house was. It is amazing how it looks with it gone. It is just all cleaned off and flat ground. The BBQ grill is there in the left of the picture. It is nice to have that mice trap gone. I hope all of the little critters ran into the forest and not over to the other cabin!
The man dug a hole 2 feet deep and put all of the burnable debris in it so that come winter with a snow fall, we will have us an enormous bon fire. Then he will come back and put the dirt over it, covering up all of the nails etc. The next project that the man is helping us with in January is to dig a new septic tank and leach fields for the new cabin. That means, of course, that we need to decide just where we want to put one and how big it is going to be. That doesn't mean it will be built anytime soon!!!
Here is the pretty new roof. It looks so great. When we were there yesterday, 12-5, it was about 60 degrees outside, but inside the house it was about 40. I guess the roof didn't make it any warmer.

Burke has still never been; we'll have to get up there the next time we are down in Arizona.
