It was the first day of school Wednesday, Aug. 11th. Aaron is a mighty senior at Mt. View High School, class of 2011. Seminary is A-hour at 6:45. He is playing the French Horn in the Wind Ensemble, taking AP Physics, Calculus AB, Chorale, Mythology and is also on the swimming team for the first time. He is excited to try something new. He will be great.
Karen is now a Sophomore in High School. She was not nervous for her first day, because she had already made so many friends at Marching Band Camp that she felt comfortable. Her friends are all amazed that she says Hi! to so many people. She begins her day with Marching Band at 6:15 a.m. playing the synthesizer in the pit. She plays the oboe in the Wind Ensemble with Aaron. They think it is fun to have a class together. She has Spanish 3, English, Chemistry, Seminary and Geometry.
