We began our trip and the first National Monument we saw was Martin's Cove (sorry no picture), then we saw Independence Rock, then we saw Devil's Tower. They were all really cool rocks.
We also went to the Passion Play. This get-up outfit was what we wore in the pouring rain -- sometimes even hail! But the play was still good and we had really good seats because no one else wanted to sit in the rain! Glad to be from Arizona.
We, or I decided to start a new tradition and collection of taking pictures of the state signs we pass. It's a fun tradition and we get goofy pictures.
Aaron is officially 6 ft. -- But some of that might be hair height. 
We went trout fishing. We all caught a fish and gutted it. Dad made me hold my fish to take a picture and when I was holding it, it pooped an egg (caviar) on my foot! 
A really cool unicycle with training wheels that we saw people riding at our campground in Spearfish. They said they got it in Canada.
Before we went to Mt. Rushmore, we went on the President's Alpine Slide!! It was a lot of fun! We all cruised down the mountain, especially Dad.

Making our way to other fantastic rocks, Chimney Rock! But acid rain has made it a lot smaller than when the pioneers saw it. Pretty soon there will be only a hump left. We also saw Scot's Bluff and talked with Alyson in Brazil at the top! Wow, what a rock.
Four Corners... Aaron is so excited to be there! 
Canyon de Chelley's Spider Rock... again, another rock. Canyon de Chelley is a canyon where Indians lived and is now a National Historic site.
