Black and White is Beautiful

Don't they look so handsome!!! Mountain View had a concert on Thursday night and the Poston Concert Band was invited to play also. So it was a picture opportunity with all three kids dressed up and looking fancy. Yes, Anna is still wearing the dress that was Kathryn's (Sarah's is still in the closet, too short!) Aaron is wearing his NEW tuxedo. Karen is wearing a tuxedo shirt and long black skirt, Poston's performance outfit. What great kids. The music was excellent for both groups. It is nice to have Anna and Aaron in the same Wind Ensemble (top band). They are playing really great pieces. Poston has a new band teacher, Mrs. Bock. She is so great. Their concert Band is really good. The teacher is a real motivator. Incidentally, Karen was gone this past weekend to the MYS Metropolitan Youth Symphony retreat. She had a great time. She is having fun playing with a nice group like that. Oboe is a challenging instrument, but the more opportunity to play, the better you get. She is learning. Music is the family's life this semester
