Girl's Camp 7-29 to 8-2

Girl 's Camp the end of July was tons of fun for Anna, Karen, Carol and Michael. The theme was "Boot Camp" Our ward was the "Go Go Boot's" and our ward scripture was, "I will go-go and do the things the Lord commands..." For our skit, we had to focus on music of the 80's and a war time period of the cold war between 1965 and 1995. We showed a slide show about the Berlin wall and what it is like to live there and it coming down in 1994, then we danced to the song, "Mother Freedom" by Bread and "rocked out" to a small refrain from the David Hasselhof song "Freedom." These songs were sung at a big rally in Berlin after the wall came down. Actually it turned out great and we got lots of good comments. We had cute side pony-tails, puffed up bangs and awesome leg warmers. Michael had fun at camp as the priesthood. I think we will make it a family affair next year also.
If you want to see more pictures of Camp, link into Updikes blog and she tells more.
